The Cuvée Leah is richly textured and medium-bodied. It shows a delicious abundance of black cherry and black currant notes with a hint of wood on the palate. Its elegant tannins and complexity point towards good short-term cellaring potential.The vineyard at Château Petit-Freylon covers 30 hectares (75 acres), 20 of which are within the Bordeaux Supérieur appellation. The soils are clay and limestone and the average vine age is 30 years. Grape varieties are 75% Cabernet Sauvignon and 25% Merlot, with average yields of 50 hectoliters per hectare.
