Fresh on the nose, you find notes of green apple and runner beans before more perfumed, floral notes appear. These more delicate aromas give way to a pungent sweetness, ripe pears, and notes of pine and a hint of smokiness. On the palate, you initially detect sweet characters, parma violets and honey but these are soon overpowered by a dry spiciness fostered by a stringent smoky character. On the finish, the dryness eventually gives way to a more sweet character that leaves a very pleasant mouthfeel.
