The Corton-Grèves is spectacular. Dark-ruby/purple-colored, its awesomely ripe nose is awash in sweet cherries and oak spice. A massive explosion of juice-packed chocolate-covered cherries greets the palate and is followed by waves of kirsch-soaked blackberries, boysenberries, blueberries, and stones in this powerful, hugely-concentrated, and masculine wine. This velvety-textured, full-bodied, and seductive offering possesses an impressive lingering finish that reveals load of ripe, round tannins. It should be at its best between 2002 and 2008. Bravo!
