Intense floral notes of acacia and linden flowers. The refreshing presence of Fiano gives notes of fern, musk and menthol. On the palate, it is fresh and compact with notes of bergamot, pear, nectarine and white currant. Then it shifts toward a more mineral and spicy character, with notes of flint, rosemary, saffron. The wine gets riper in the finish with hints of mango, almond and fig leaves.

A blend of Vermentino and Viognier, the 2019 Vistamare reminds me of a classy Condrieu from the likes of Stéphane Ogier. Lots of ripe citrus, orange blossom, white peach, and a kiss of salinity all emerge from this beautiful, medium to full-bodied, elegant white that has a great mouthfeel and lip-smacking acidity.
