From 3 lieux-dits: Aux Echezeaux, En Champs, Combes du Dessus. Heart of the finest village terroirs in Gevrey. 90+ year old vines. 50% whole hand-cut whole cluster. Indigenous yeast. Aged in barrel (1/3rd new) for 16 months. Unfined and unfiltered.

Aux Echezeaux, Combes Dessus, En Champ. 70 to 120 year old vines, 20 hl/ha, 50% whole bunch in the decorticated style, with the main stem removed. One third new wood. Not the deepest colour, crimson purple, but this is a wine which is all in finesse, like Arnaud’s Ma Cuvée but with a tensile thread that takes it to a higher level, superb on the palate, all red fruit.
