66% whole bunches, not racked. The bouquet suggests a velvety richness to follow. This has revived very well since my initial tasting, with a weight of fruit behind the fresh red fruit aspects at the front of the palate. Quite intense, with a lively finish. Once again, the use of the whole bunches seems to lengthen the finish. Just 13.5% which helps.

A more elegant and significantly better layered nose reflects notes of various dark berries, cassis, exotic spices and a hint of violet. There is once again excellent vibrancy to the velvet-textured and refined middle weight flavors that also coat the palate with sappy dry extract before terminating in a punchy and surprisingly powerful finale. Worth considering.
