2020 Golan Heights Winery Yarden Mount Hermon Red Galilee, Israel
$16.99 USD
Winemaker Notes
The Mount Hermon Red Wine is blended from the classic Bordeaux varieties of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Malbec and Petit Verdot.
All grown in the Golan Heights. The cool climate, rocky volcanic soil, and high altitude are ideal conditions for growing classic wine grape varieties. Moderately early pressing yields a wine with good color and ample fruit that can be enjoyed without extensive aging. To preserve the quality of the wine, this bottle should be stored on its side in a cool, dark place. Best served at 55-60 degrees F.
The 2020 Mount Hermon Red presents aromatic aromas of red and black fruits, layered with hints of fresh herbs, earth and cocoa. Great for everyday drinking, this young blended wine exhibits satisfying body and lingering flavor.
The 2020 Mount Hermon Red is ready to enjoy now, and will remain in good condition for about three years from vintage. Give the wine a go with grilled skewered lamb, a really good hamburger, or a nice brie.
