The Clydeside Distillery's first release is finally here — Stobcross. Before the modern, yet beautifully traditional Clydeside Distillery was built, before the Queen's Dock was the center of trade in the heart of Glasgow on the River Clyde, there sat Stobcross House. The waypoint for which this inaugural release of Clydeside is named. A marriage of ex-bourbon and ex-Oloroso sherry barrels brings together this 100% Scottish barley malt. Unchillfiltered and natural color, bottled at 46% ABV. If you're ever in Glasgow, this stunning distillery is a must visit site. Owned by the Morrison's it is also the retail home of many fabulous A.D. Rattray independent bottlings and an epic cafe. The whisky itself — impeccably malt forward and marked by sweet ripe orchard fruits and a kiss of round Oloroso dried fruit.
