"The Fourrier family has a series of small holdings within Chambolle Musigny. The village parcel covers .39 hectare and the vines were planted in 1936. Fourrier’s style marries particularly well to the finesse that is so critical to the proper expression of the Chambolle terroir."

The 2012 Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru Les Goulots offers a sensual bouquet with dried rose petals and pot pourri infusing the pure and heady redcurrant and fresh strawberry fruit aromas. The palate is very harmonious with good concentration, demonstrating a little more weight and presence than the Cherbaudes, building gently to a convincing, lightly spiced finish. The Goulots is a case of “less is more”.
