Winemaker Notes
With the Petra Potenti Toscana comes a first-class red wine in the wine glass. Here it presents a wonderfully dense, crimson color. After the first swirl, this red wine reveals a high density and abundance, which is evident in church windows at the glass edge. The nose of this Petra red wine presents all kinds of mulberries, blackberries, blackcurrants and blueberries. As if this were not already impressive, further aromas such as cocoa bean, black tea and bitter chocolate are added by the ageing in a small wooden barrel.

This red from Petra is ideal for all wine drinkers who like it dry. However, it never appears sparse or brittle, but round and supple. This dense and fleshy red wine is impressive and complex on the palate. The finale of this red wine from the wine-growing region of Tuscany finally captivates with beautiful reverberation.

Vinification of the Potenti Toscana of Petra
The powerful potential of Tuscany is based on grapes from the Cabernet Sauvignon grape variety. After the harvest, the grapes quickly reach the press house. Here they are selected and carefully ground. This is followed by fermentation in small wood at controlled temperatures. After the end of the fermentation, the Potenti Toscana is aged for several months in oak barrels
