Winemaker Notes

"SUSTAINABLY GROWN. Fruity, lively, dry, and a lot of fun, the 2023 Zweigelt Rose from Muller has fresh a swift note of blueberry, followed by melon and nectarine notes. It is dry, crisp, clean, light and so appealing! Made from the red grape, Zweigelt, this is a quality small-production Rose that would pair well with Seafood, Cheese, or Poultry dishes or just a good burger. It is versatile and makes a great compliment to any table. Delicious and easy drinking!

The grapes for this Rose originate from the ‘Gottweiger Berg‘ in the southern Kremstal wine region. The vines mainly grow on gravel which is covered by a massive layer of loess. The warm Pannonian climate from the east is creating a micro-climate unique to the Danube valley. The combination of the well-suited soil along with the unique climate of the Danube valley supports the ripening of the grapes perfectly."
