"First time trying such an aged Felipe Rutini and this was one of the most brilliant Bordeaux blends I had from the new world (especially outside Italy and the USA). Only had a glass but it was readily revealing a great panorama of aromas and bouquets. Fully ripe yet not overpowering dark and red fruits, suffused with leathery and smoky flavours and a tad touch of bell peppers on a silky palate all recalling a well-made Meritage. Though, not justifiable for the price label; but no doubt a lovely wine."
