White Wine

2020 Concha y Toro 'Terrunyo' Sauvignon Blanc, Casablanca Valley, Chile

$24.99 USD

Winemaker Notes
Bright greenish yellow. This wine is highly complex, with an expressive and elegant character, minerality and freshness. With herbaceous notes, white flowers, passion fruit, limes, and grapefruit. Its body is medium to full-bodied with notes of sea and salt and hints of chalk. It has a deep and persistent finish. Lively and juicy acidity. Well balanced.

I found a very subtle and elegant 2020 Terrunyo Sauvignon Blanc, a young and pale varietal from the Casablanca Valley, a white of moderate alcohol and notable acidity that is subtle, a little shy and in need to grow in bottle. It's varietal but more on the floral and citrus side than the herbal profile.
