Winemaker Notes
Grace Family Vineyards is one of Napa Valley's first cult wines. The estate, located in St. Helena, produces only two wines, Grace Family Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon and Blank Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon, with a total production of roughly 500 cases annually.

Proprietors Dick and Ann Grace purchased the estate in 1976, harvesting their first commercial crop in 1978, and were one of the first in the US to implement high-density vine training and use the word "family" in their winery's name. Beyond its highly allocated wines, Grace Family Vineyards runs Grace Family Vineyards Foundation with the mission "wine to act as a catalyst towards healing the planet".

Grace Family Vineyards' first wines were produced by Charlie Wagner at Caymus, who also produced wine from the Grace's fruit under his well-known label. The wines have been produced in-house since 1985 by some of Napa Valley's most esteemed winemakers including Wagner, Gary Galleron, Heidi Barrett, and Gary Brookman.

Rated 94 Points Wine Spectator
Dark and maturing, with complex black cherry, coffee, wild berry, stewed plum, cedar and anise flavors that are concentrated and elegant. Finishes with mild but sufficient tannins. Drinks exceptionally well now.
