2020 Veramonte Primus Carmenere Colchagua Valley Chile

$25.99 USD

Winemaker Notes
Aromas of red fruits, cedar and boldo herbs. It’s fresh and fruity in mouth with cherry flavors and a touch of pepper and rosemary. Silky with velvety tannins and good volume.

Pairs well with beef empanadas, curried lamb and stews.

Press from previous vintage
Sourced from the younger part of the vineyard that's used to produce the bodega's icon wine, Neyen, this is one of those Carmeneres that makes you wonder why people have mixed feelings about the variety. Smooth and textured, with scented oak and notes of violet, bramble and green herbs.
Rated 93 Points Tim Atkin, MW
